Opera El Greco at Athens Megaron Hall

"The Opera: El Greco," composed by Giorgos Hatzinassios with the Italian libretto written by Ilias Liamis, will be staged on February 13, 15, 17, and 20, 2024 at Alexandra Trianti Hall. This original lyrical composition by the renowned artist depicts the life journey of Domenikos Theotokopoulos, tracing his path from his birthplace in Crete to Italy and eventually settling in Spain until his passing. Angela Saroglou directs and dramatizes the production, with selected soloists taking on the roles and being accompanied by the Novarte Symphony Orchestra, alongside the Fons Musicalis Choir. The co-production is a collaboration between Apollonian Enterprises and Athens Megaron Concert Hall.
